We have different kinds of ghost users:
- Users who show up in both the receiver Info and Status pages
- Most likely cause: the flash interface did not properly unload on the client's computer
- Solution: kill the user's browser completely, or reboot the user's computer
- Less likely cause: some bug in the RadioServer software
- Solution: restart the RadioServer software or the server computer
- Most likely cause: the flash interface did not properly unload on the client's computer
- Users who show up in the Info page only
- Most likely cause: a bug in the RadioServer software (fixed in version 3206)
- Less likely cause: a new bug in the RadioServer which somehow causes desynchronization
- Solution: restart (or kick) the RadioServer (not the user!), or restart the server computer
- Users who show up in the Status page only
- Less likely cause: a new bug in the RadioServer which somehow causes desynchronization
- Solution: restart the RadioServer, or restart the server computer
